Welcome Nigella friends!

Hello to fellow Nigella forummers looking for a new cyber-home. I thought we could all do with a little comfort food. So here is the caramel croissant pudding for us all to share.

Please do give me your comments on how you would like this site to look, what you would like it to do, if you would like to be a contributor or just a commentator. I have also added a poll on this site to find out if people would like an independent forum for us to all continue our discussions without including Facebook.

Looking forward to your comments.

  2. I think we should have a bloglist here of all forummers blogs for those that wish to participate. I will add the list now with our blogs and add more as they come to my attention.

  12. I think you need to go into your settings and see if there is a 'user name' or I think it says someting like "this is the name that will appear on the blog" Just keep mucking around and you will work it out. Happy cooking.

  13. There are different post under topic names, and you can add comments. At the moment, I have kept it just as me posting and you all commenting until we know how we want a possible forum and this blog set up. Sorry australiaman that I was not around to answer all your questions but real life beckoned and I had to do the kids bedtime routine.

  16. I am actually shocked that they would choose Facebook to move the forum activity on to. I do not find it user friendly for such things and I feel like such a number with over 68000 fans on the FB site.

  17. Hello Baking Bunny, Heth here, also a not frequent poster on Nigella.com, but a very keen reader and much saddened by the potential loss of our forum there. Your website is beautiful and thank you for setting this up to continue the family feel.

I would rather like to eat all the caramel croissant pudding right now, it looks gorgeous.

  20. Hi all,Kumi also here, glad to see that we still haven't lost our community!

As for the look of the forum i would kindly suggest if the back ground could be more muted in a way of tinted light colors not to distract the eye,i love what you did BB kindly don't be offended but some of us are really lost in this blog thing beginners not pros like you so it would help to have as little distraction as possible so as to try and find our way!

One silly question to have account here i created a new e mail account that would only be used here but could not use my Kumi name as it was taken. Now when i used kumica as email name it appeared here while posting. Is there any way that i could have my name Kumi and how can i do that? Thanks.

Most important of all i feel betrayed where did all the information and recipes that you all posted go.I personally feel that they should have gave us time to print or copy what we needed and a prior notice, they did say details will follow the next day which did not.
Can we do something about that,i personally wanted to print some threads before it was shut down and was shocked not to find it, i thought it will shut down on the 6th.
